Emergency works of protection the city of Valjevo from the great water of river Kolubara (RFPI 14)

PROJECT DESCRIPITON

The aim of the project is to improve flood protection of the city of Valjevo. The riverbed and protection were mostly damaged in the floods in 2014. With this project the city of Valjevo would be protected from the appearance of 100-years water in the watercourses of the Kolubara, Obnica and Jablanica rivers.

WORKS DESCRIPTION

- Rehabilitation of 5.2 km embankment river Kolubara, Jablanica and Obnica;

- Rehabilitation of regulated sections and regulation of the Kolubara riverbed and influent to unregulated sections, in order to ensure the flow of watercourses through the urban area.

Amounts:

- excavation approx. 84,000 m3

- installation of semi-worked stone of size 30-50 cm approx. 53,000 m2

- Installation of stone chippings 27,500 m3

- Installation of concrete 5,000 m3
