PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our company, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies DOO, has successfully completed another project: Delivery, installation and commissioning of technological, mechanical and electrical equipment for the purification of raw well water of a well-known domestic client from the food industry. The project lasted 6 months and involved the construction of a new plant with a capacity of 66.6 m³/h of raw water.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WTP SYSTEM
- Capacity of 66.6 m³/h of raw water, i.e. 49.9 m³/h of purified water (permeate)
- System for adjusting the hardness of the final treated water - Automatic system for mixing the permeate water of the RO system and the feed water of the RO system in order to obtain the final treated process water of the appropriate defined hardness
- During the design, standards used in the food and beverage industry were applied
- Produced water complies with legal norms for drinking water
- Installed multimedia filters of high working efficiency enable effective removal of iron, manganese (if necessary), as well as possible turbidity from raw well water
- The efficiency of the reverse osmosis line is greater than 78%
- An automatic control system is provided within the plant.
The newly built plant contains the following units:
- Raw water flow meter and panel with measurement of pH and redox potential
- Dosing of the oxidizing agent
- Filtration – Mechanical pre-filters
- Filtration - Turbidex filters
- Protective filters – 5 μm filter cartridge
- Conditioning of the RO line with systems for:
- Dosage of antiscalant
- Dosage of bisulfite
- Dosage of biocide
- Desalination – Reverse osmosis lines
- RO washing and cleaning - RO CIP unit
- System for adjusting the hardness of the finally treated water
- For the final sterilization/disinfection of purified water, a system with ClO2 solution dosing is installed
- A treated water flow meter is installed on the outlet line from the plant.
