Signed contract for management services and maintenance of central wastewater treatment plant with municipality Vrbas
Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is engaged by the Municipality of Vrbas for operation management services and maintenance of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Vrbas. Veolia company is entrusted with management and maintenance currently the highest capacity WWTP in Serbia- 120.000 equivalent habitants. VWST responsibility is the operation of the plant in line with standards and legislation of the Republic of Serbia, regular and accidental maintenance of the plant and equipment, timely supply of chemicals, as well as optimization of plant functionality and decrease of operational costs by lowering of usage of electrical energy.
With the implementation of this service, CPPOV will be put into operation for the residents of Vrbas, Kula and Crvenka, which will stop the discharge of sewage into the Veliki Bačka canal. With this activity, Veolia will significantly contribute to the improvement of environmental protection in Bačka.
