4. Construction and demolition waste (CDW) recycling facility
The construction and demolition waste recycling facility consists of a crushing plant for inert waste with the aim of utilizing and temporarily storing recycled material.
The process includes:
reception of construction and demolition waste
coarse sorting
crushing and screening of inert waste into different fractions for the production of aggregates, road base materials, and embankments
storage of clean soil for reuse
The facility was put into operation on August 17, 2021, and is the only recycling facility within the complex. The facility's capacity is 200,000 tons per year.
